The award-winning New Grove Rums are testimonials to Mauritius’s long-standing history in the art of rum making. They showcase the rich heritage and excellence of the island’s rum-making tradition. In 1852, Dr Pierre Charles Francois Harel developed the concept of local distillation of rum in Mauritius, using only the finest local ingredients from his vast Pamplemousses Garden Estate to create a liquor of outstanding quality and pure refinement. 150 years later, New Grove Rum still conveys this strong heritage and retains these delicate flavours from the past. Crafted in the middle of the green sugar fields, and produced in limited quantity, this exclusive spiced rum is reserved for the real connoisseurs who can truly appreciate its subtle refinement.

TASTING NOTES
When sampling our Exclusive Spiced Rum on the nose our Mauritian Rum is appealing, combining spicy, honey and orange aromas for a flavourful soft and generous palate. Finishes with an unusual hint of spices, with a good depth.
