Ron Barcelo: Artisan producers of high-quality rum

From the finest Dominican sugarcane juice aged in barriques with a high toast degree,
Ron Barceló Dark Series rums acquire their characteristic colour, fragrance and taste after a minimum of 1 year of natural ageing in toasted barriques from different latitudes. The local climate, combined with the Caribbean temperature and humidity of our cellars, guarantee the production of top-quality rum.
All rums are made through a careful selection process, which begins with the identification of the batches of barriques that have completed the pre-established maturation process for their formulation. Once this process is completed, the barriques are emptied and blended in stainless steel tanks, under the supervision of the Master Blender and “Expertos Roneros” (Rum Masters) who jealously monitor the entire process.
TASTING NOTES:
Amber colour. Aromas of caramelized vanilla, creamy chocolate, subtle memories of tobacco and citrus caresses. Round entry and Smooth, light but persistent body, with a fruity and tasty finish.
