November’s Rum Box
With the night’s drawing in and the days getting colder we are heating up November with the Pineapple Grenade super premium small batch overproof spiced rum. Premium rum from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana, one of the greatest distilleries in the Caribbean with a rich history of rum production dating back to the 1650s. Rum from the Diamond Distillery is used in countless premium indie brands. The 100% molasses rum used for Pineapple Grenade is lightly infused on arrival in the UK with a secret spice blend alongside the hero flavours of pineapple and salted caramel, delivering an incredibly smooth and richly flavoured rum despite its strength.

- Rockstar Spirits Pineapple Grenade – 50cl/65% alc./vol
- Kokomo Coconut Liqueur – 70cl/17.5% alc./vol
- 2x Fentimans Tropical soda – 125ml
The Expressions
Pineapple Grenade is a sweet and juicy rum with obvious notes of pineapple, then tangy mango and layers of caramel with a touch of ginger. This is a smooth easy to drink Rum despite being bottled at 65%. It is also very versatile and pairs well with mixers, adds interest to classic and tiki cocktails, and of course can be enjoyed on its own over ice.
This rum is superb when mixed with Fentimans Tropical soda. Fill a highball glass with ice and as much Pineapple Grenade rum as you dare, then add the tropical soda to taste – boom!
We also chose a simple coconut liqueur this month, they say ‘no carbs before Marbs’ so how about no carbs before Christmas? Try a skinny Pina Colada by mixing the Pineapple Grenade with a shot of Kokomo and serve over ice.
